ואמר דוד מלכא לכל קהלא שלמה ברי חד ואתרעי ביה יי טלי רכיך ופלחנא סגיעא ארום לא לשום בר נשא פלטירא ארום לשום מימרא דיי אלהים:
alhym dyy mymra lshwm arwm plTyra nsha br lshwm la arwm sgyea wplkhna rkyk Tly yy byh wathrey khd bry shlmh qhla lkl mlka dwd wamr
David the king said to all the assembly, “Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great; for the palace is not for man, but for Yahweh God.

ובכל חילי אתקנית לבית מקדשא אלהי דהבא לעובדא דדהבא וכספא לעובדא דכספא ונחשא לעובדא דנחשא ופרזלא לעובדא דפרזלא וקיסין לעובדא דקיסיא אבני בורלא ואשלמותא אזמרגזין וציורין וכל מרגליתא יקרתא ואבני מרמוריא לסוגי:
lswgy mrmwrya wabny yqrtha mrglytha wkl wtsywryn azmrgzyn washlmwtha bwrla abny dqysya lewbda wqysyn dprzla lewbda wprzla dnkhsha lewbda wnkhsha dkspa lewbda wkspa ddhba lewbda dhba alhy mqdsha lbyth athqnyth khyly wbkl
Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for the things of gold, the silver for the things of silver, the bronze for the things of bronze, iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood, also onyx stones, stones to be set, stones for inlaid work of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.

ותוב כד אתרעיתי בבית מקדשא אלהי אית לי אוצרי דהבא וכספא יהבית לבית מקדש אלהי על כל מה דאתקינית לבית קודשא:
qwdsha lbyth dathqynyth mh kl el alhy mqdsh lbyth yhbyth wkspa dhba awtsry ly ayth alhy mqdsha bbyth athreythy kd wthwb
In addition, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, since I have a treasure of my own of gold and silver, I give it to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house:

תלתא אלפין קנטרין דדהב מן דהב אופיר ושבעא אלפין קנטרין כספא סנינא למשוע כותלי ביתיא:
bythya kwthly lmshwe snyna kspa qnTryn alpyn wshbea awpyr dhb mn ddhb qnTryn alpyn thltha
even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, with which to overlay the walls of the houses;

לדהבא לדהבא וכספא לכספא ולכל עבידתא ביד נגריא ומאן די יצבי לקרבא קורבניה יומא דין יקריב קדם יי:
yy qdm yqryb dyn ywma qwrbnyh lqrba ytsby dy wman ngrya byd ebydtha wlkl lkspa wkspa ldhba ldhba
of gold for the things of gold, and of silver for the things of silver, and for all kinds of work to be made by the hands of artisans. Who then offers willingly to consecrate himself today to Yahweh?”

ואתרעיו רבני אבהתא ורישי שבטא דישראל ורבני אלפין ומאותא ולרבני עבידת מלכא:
mlka ebydth wlrbny wmawtha alpyn wrbny dyshral shbTa wryshy abhtha rbny wathreyw
Then the princes of the fathers’ households, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers over the king’s work, offered willingly;

ויהבו לעבידת בית מקדשא דיי דהבא קנטנרין חמשא אלפין וזוזין עשרא אלפין וכספא קנטנרין עשרא אלפין ונחשא רבבתא ותמניא אלפין קנטנרין ופרזלא מאה אלפין קנטנרין:
qnTnryn alpyn mah wprzla qnTnryn alpyn wthmnya rbbtha wnkhsha alpyn eshra qnTnryn wkspa alpyn eshra wzwzyn alpyn khmsha qnTnryn dhba dyy mqdsha byth lebydth wyhbw
and they gave for the service of God’s house of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand darics, of silver ten thousand talents, of bronze eighteen thousand talents, and of iron one hundred thousand talents.

ודאשתכח גביה מרגליתא יהבו לקורטור בית מקדשא דיי על יד יחיאל מזרעית גרשון:
grshwn mzreyth ykhyal yd el dyy mqdsha byth lqwrTwr yhbw mrglytha gbyh wdashthkkh
People with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of Yahweh’s house, under the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.

ושמחו עמא מטול דאתנדבו ארום בלב שלים אתנדבו קדם יי ואוף דוד מלכא חדה חדוה רבתא:
rbtha khdwh khdh mlka dwd wawp yy qdm athndbw shlym blb arwm dathndbw mTwl ema wshmkhw
Then the people rejoiced, because they offered willingly, because with a perfect heart they offered willingly to Yahweh; and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

ובריך דוד ית יי למחמיהון דכל קהלא ואמר דוד בריך אנת יי אלהא דישראל אבונן מן עלמא הדין ועד עלמא דאתי:
dathy elma wed hdyn elma mn abwnn dyshral alha yy anth bryk dwd wamr qhla dkl lmkhmyhwn yy yth dwd wbryk
Therefore David blessed Yahweh before all the assembly; and David said, “You are blessed, Yahweh, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever.

דילך יי רבותא דברתא עלמא בגבורתא רבתא וגבורתא דאפקתא אבהתנא ממצרים בגבורן רברבן ואעברתנון ית ימא ואתגליתא על טורא דסיני בשבהורא עם כתי מלאכיא למיתן אוריתא לעמך ועבדתא נצחנין בעמלק ובסיחון ובעוג ובמלכי כנענאי ובזיו יקרך אקימתא שמשא בגבעון וסהרא במשר אילון עד דאתפרעו עמא בית ישראל מן סנאיהון ארום כלהון עובדי ידך בשמיא ובארעא ואת שליט עליהון וסביל כל מה די בשמיא וכל מה די בארעא דילך יי מלכותא ברקיעא ומתנטל על כלהון מלאכיא דבשמיא ועל כל דמתמנן לרישא בארעא:

Yours, Yahweh, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty! For all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, Yahweh, and you are exalted as head above all.

ועתרא דעתיריא ויקרא דמלכיא ושליטיא מן קדמך מתיהב להון ואנת שליט בכולא ובידך אית יכלתא לרבאה ולתקפא לכלא:

Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all! In your hand is power and might! It is in your hand to make great, and to give strength to all!

וכדון אלהנא מודין אנן לך ומשבחין לשום תושבחתך:
thwshbkhthk lshwm wmshbkhyn lk ann mwdyn alhna wkdwn
Now therefore, our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name.
14
וארום מא אנא ומה עמי דנסגי חילא לאתנדבא כדא ארום מן קדמך מתיהב כולא ומן ברכת ידך יהבנא לך:
lk yhbna ydk brkth wmn kwla mthyhb qdmk mn arwm kda lathndba khyla dnsgy emy wmh ana ma warwm
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and we have given you of your own.

ארום דירין אנן גבך ותותבין הי ככלהון אבהתנא הי כטולא דעופא דפרח באויר שמיא הכדין יומנא על ארעא ולית סיבור לבר נשא דיחי עד עלמא:
elma ed dykhy nsha lbr sybwr wlyth area el ywmna hkdyn shmya bawyr dprkh dewpa kTwla hy abhthna kklhwn hy wthwthbyn gbk ann dyryn arwm
For we are strangers before you and foreigners, as all our fathers were. Our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no remaining.

יי אלהנא בכל נכסין סגיאין האלין דאתקיננא למבני לשום יקרך בית מקדשא לשבחא ביה שום קודשך מן ידך היא ודילך כולא:
kwla wdylk hya ydk mn qwdshk shwm byh lshbkha mqdsha byth yqrk lshwm lmbny dathqynna halyn sgyayn nksyn bkl alhna yy
Yahweh our God, all this store that we have prepared to build you a house for your holy name comes from your hand, and is all your own.

וידעית אלהי ארום בחין לבא את ועובדין כשרין את רעי אנא בקשיטות לבבי אתנדבית כל אלין וכדון עמך אנחנא דאשתכחו הכא חמית מטול בחדוה אתו לאתנדבא לך:
lk lathndba athw bkhdwh mTwl khmyth hka dashthkkhw ankhna emk wkdwn alyn kl athndbyth lbby bqshyTwth ana rey ath kshryn wewbdyn ath lba bkhyn arwm alhy wydeyth
I know also, my God, that you try the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things. Now I have seen with joy your people, who are present here, offer willingly to you.

יי אלהא דאברהם יצחק וישראל אבהתנא נטר נדבתא דא לזכותא לעלם לקשטא יצר הרהורי לבבא דעמך ואתקין לבהון למדחל לותך:
lwthk lmdkhl lbhwn wathqyn demk lbba hrhwry ytsr lqshTa lelm lzkwtha da ndbtha nTr abhthna wyshral ytskhq dabrhm alha yy
Yahweh, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this desire forever in the thoughts of the heart of your people, and prepare their heart for you;

ולשלמה ברי הב לבא שלים למנטר פקודיך סהדותך וקימך ולמעבד כולא ולמבני פלטירין דאתקנית:
dathqnyth plTyryn wlmbny kwla wlmebd wqymk shdwthk pqwdyk lmnTr shlym lba hb bry wlshlmh
and give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep your commandments, your testimonies, and your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.”

ואמר דוד לכל קהלא בריכו כדון ית יי אלהכון ובריכו כל קהלא קדם יי אלהא דאבהתהון וגחינו וסגידו קדם יי וקדם מלכא:
mlka wqdm yy qdm wsgydw wgkhynw dabhthhwn alha yy qdm qhla kl wbrykw alhkwn yy yth kdwn brykw qhla lkl dwd wamr
Then David said to all the assembly, “Now bless Yahweh your God!” All the assembly blessed Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads and prostrated themselves before Yahweh and the king.

ודבחו קדם יי נכסת קודשין ואסיקו עלון קדם יי לבתר יומא ההוא תורין אלפא דכרין אלפא אמרין אלפא ונסכיהון ונכסין לסגי לכל ישראל:
yshral lkl lsgy wnksyn wnskyhwn alpa amryn alpa dkryn alpa thwryn hhwa ywma lbthr yy qdm elwn wasyqw qwdshyn nksth yy qdm wdbkhw
They sacrificed sacrifices to Yahweh and offered burnt offerings to Yahweh on the next day after that day, even one thousand bulls, one thousand rams, and one thousand lambs, with their drink offerings and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel,

ואכלו ושתיאו קדם יי ביומא ההוא בחדוה רבתא ואמליכו תנינות ית שלמה בר דוד ומשחוהי קדם יי למלכא ולצדוק לכהנא רבא:
rba lkhna wltsdwq lmlka yy qdm wmshkhwhy dwd br shlmh yth thnynwth wamlykw rbtha bkhdwh hhwa bywma yy qdm wshthyaw waklw
and ate and drank before Yahweh on that day with great gladness. They made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him before Yahweh to be prince, and Zadok to be priest.

ויתב שלמה על כורסי מלכותא על פום מימרא דיי למלכא באתר דוד אבוהי ואצלח וקבילו מניה כל ישראל:
yshral kl mnyh wqbylw watslkh abwhy dwd bathr lmlka dyy mymra pwm el mlkwtha kwrsy el shlmh wythb
Then Solomon sat on the throne of Yahweh as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

וכל רברביא וגבריא ואוף כל בני מלכא דוד יהבו ידא תחות שלמה מלכא לסיעא יתיה ולתקפותיה בכל מלכותיה:
mlkwthyh bkl wlthqpwthyh ythyh lsyea mlka shlmh thkhwth yda yhbw dwd mlka bny kl wawp wgbrya rbrbya wkl
All the princes, the mighty men, and also all of the sons of King David submitted themselves to Solomon the king.
25
ורבי יי ית שלמה לעילא קדם כל ישראל ויהב עלוי זיו מלכותא ושבהורא רבא דלא הוה דכמיה על כל מלכא קומוי על ישראל:
yshral el qwmwy mlka kl el dkmyh hwh dla rba wshbhwra mlkwtha zyw elwy wyhb yshral kl qdm leyla shlmh yth yy wrby
Yahweh magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and gave to him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
26
ודוד בר ישי מלך על כלהון בית ישראל:
yshral byth klhwn el mlk yshy br wdwd
Now David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.
27
ויומיא די מליך דוד על ישראל ארבעין שנין בחברון מלך שבע שנין ובירושלם מלך תלתין ותלת שנין:
shnyn wthlth thlthyn mlk wbyrwshlm shnyn shbe mlk bkhbrwn shnyn arbeyn yshral el dwd mlyk dy wywmya
The time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; he reigned seven years in Hebron, and he reigned thirty-three years in Jerusalem.

ומית דוד בשיבו טבתא סבע יומין בעתרא דיקרא ואמליך שלמה בריה באתרוהי :
bathrwhy bryh shlmh wamlyk dyqra bethra ywmyn sbe Tbtha bshybw dwd wmyth
He died at a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor; and Solomon his son reigned in his place.

ופתגמי דוד מלכא קדמאי ובתראי הא אנון כתיבין על פתגמי שמואל חזונא ועל פתגמי נתן נביא ועל פתגמי גד סכואה:
skwah gd pthgmy wel nbya nthn pthgmy wel khzwna shmwal pthgmy el kthybyn anwn ha wbthray qdmay mlka dwd wpthgmy
Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the history of Samuel the seer, and in the history of Nathan the prophet, and in the history of Gad the seer,
